Last year it was cherry blossom trees. This year it is bright golden tulips that make me catch my breath every time I spot one.
For me these flowers personify happiness. I see them and they make my heart feel light. They are refreshing. They are cheerful. They are my happy feeling.

When I gaze at them they pull me in and they capture my full attention. For the few seconds they have power over me, I am able to forget everything else as I revel in their beauty, in the hope they exude. They make my mind wander and wonder about all the many and glorious things I can accomplish in my life. They truly bring a smile to my face and they make me feel as if I can conquer anything.

I do love yellow.It probably doesn’t surprise you that it is my favorite color. It brings me sunshine and happiness … and tulips.

God gives us cheerful and fresh Spring every year. So few seem to take time to record what this wonderful time of year means to them. I love what you said about the yellow flowers.
